The Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) is aimed at providing a comprehensive educational experience.
Interdisciplinary Curriculum. FYUGP offers a broad and interdisciplinary curriculum, allowing students to explore diverse subjects beyond their primary field of study. This approach encourages a well-rounded education and fosters critical thinking across disciplines.
Choice-Based Credit System: Allows students to choose from a variety of elective courses based on their interests and career goals. This flexibility enables customization of the academic journey and encourages students to pursue their passions.
Skill Enhancement Courses: FYUGP often includes skill enhancement courses designed to develop practical skills relevant to the job market. These courses may cover areas such as communication skills, computer literacy, research methodology, and entrepreneurship.
Integration of Research and Practical Learning: Programs emphasize hands-on learning experiences, including research projects, internships, and industry collaborations.
Exit Option: The system allows students to exit with a UG degree with 133 credits at the end of the third year (sixth semester)
Career Guidance and Placement Support: Programmes provide career counseling, internships, and placement assistance to help students transition smoothly from academia to the workforce.
