SKC students had their first student union elections this academic year. It was a peaceful, democratic process, with enthusiastic student participation. The elected representatives have designated themselves as the Dhaksha College Union and they will represent the SKC students and lead all activities in college in this academic year. Dhaksha was officially inaugurated in January in the presence of GSSCT Managing Trustee Prof. K. Ravikumar, SKC Principal Prof. Murukan Babu by Shri Pratap C. Circle Inspector of Police, Mankara.
