Students' Grievance Redressal Cell
Sadanam Kumaran College's Students' Grievance Redressal Cell provides a platform for students to voice their concerns and grievances. We aim to address student complaints fairly, transparently, and promptly.
Objectives
Our objectives are:
1. To create a supportive and non-intimidating environment where students feel comfortable expressing their grievances.
2. To ensure prompt and fair redressal of student complaints.
3. To promote a culture of transparency and accountability within our institution.
Scope
We address issues related to:
- Academic performance, grading, examinations, and curriculum
- Disciplinary actions, penalties, and student conduct
- Fees, scholarships, and financial aid
- Harassment, bullying, or discrimination
- Student services, including counseling, health services, and extracurricular activities
Procedure for Lodging a Complaint
Students can submit their grievances:
- In writing
- Online through our college website or email
- Anonymously, if desired
- Directly to the Students' Grievance Cell members
Mechanism of the Cell
Here's how we work:
1. We receive complaints/applications through various channels.
2. Our committee reviews the merit of each case and decides on further discussion and investigation.
3. We act promptly to address grievances within a reasonable time.
4. We provide a report to the authority on the cases attended to and seek guidance from higher authorities if required.
5. We maintain confidentiality and ensure follow-up on each case.
