About the Department
Started in 2024, the Department of Social Work at Sadanam Kumaran College offers an enriching and comprehensive four-year undergraduate programme, the Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.), affiliated with the highly esteemed University of Calicut. Students seeking flexibility have the option to exit after the third year with Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) degree. This allows students to tailor their academic journey according to their career aspirations.
Our department is proud to have a team of experienced and dedicated faculty members who are committed to providing high-quality education and personalized mentoring. We provide a modern learning environment with well-equipped classrooms, modern seminar hall, advanced computer labs, and an extensive library facility.
Students can customize their education by choosing from a variety of Minors including Music, English, Commerce, Management, and Computer Science or Computer Applications.
