The Department of Commerce was established by starting the B.Com degree course in 2012. The Department offers a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary Curriculam to equip the students with the skill & knowledge to compete in the modern business & Social world. The Department is keen in moulding the students to find solution to the challenges of life. The students are provided an Orientation training in the First semester of the Course and a finishing school in the Final semester their Course.
The Department offers B.Com Finance with Financial Management, Financial Market & Services, Fundamentals of Investment and Financial Derivatives.
B.Com Co-operation with Co operative theory & Practices, Legal Environment, International Co operative Movement, Co operative Management & Administration
B.Com Computer Application with Business Information System, Computer Application in Business, Office automation tools, Computerised Accounting with Tally as Specialisation Courses and M.Com finance
PG Department of Commerce was established in the year 2018 and has been foresightedly designing and offering various programmes and activities to enable students to meet the growing needs of business society and emerge as professional leaders.
Industrial Visit and study tours are organised by the Department to give students a first hand experience and to provide on the job training. In addition to this in the final semester of both UG & PG Courses the students undertake a project work on a business organisation or a social or economic problem relating to the discipline to be decided by the students under supervising teacher.The commerce association has an active role in both curriculam & Co Curriculam activities of the students.
