About the Department

The Department of Computer science was established in the year 2013. It has since then been offering not only quality education but also meeting the needs of current industry by imparting the latest, updated practical knowledge regarding computer science and information technology.

Technology is everywhere, and computer science graduates are needed in every industry. Our goal is to equip students with the technical, problem-solving and leadership skills needed to create new computing technologies and to use software to empower people, organizations and society.

The department accepts students regardless of their background knowledge in coding or technology for the two undergraduate degree programs – Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Computer science (BSc).

Our department provides students with a strong foundation in the mathematical, and computer science fundamentals necessary to formulate, analyse and solve problems and to prepare them for higher studies as well as research. We promote student awareness for life-long learning and  introduce them to professional ethics and codes, as well as moulding them to contribute to society.
