ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department was established in 2012 for common course in Hindi. Hindi, our national and official language, is not only the mother tongue of the majority of Indians but also the language used by the central government. A vast amount of literature in Hindi offers rich knowledge and insights into Indian culture, history, and values, making it a valuable resource for the new generation.
In recent times, the importance of Hindi has increased tremendously. As a vital part of any academic institution, the Department of Hindi is dedicated to the study, research, and promotion of Hindi language and literature. The department plays a crucial role in preserving and promoting India's cultural heritage, with a focus on Hindi-speaking regions.Our department aims to promote students' proficiency in Hindi language and literature, fostering critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. We also create opportunities for students to engage with Hindi language and culture through extracurricular activities.
